Since I was young, I've always been fascinated with maps and geography. I would draw a map of the street we lived on in Thunder Bay (because that's all I knew) and highlight parks, my school, and where my friends lived on the block.

When my husband and I bought our first home in Toronto, I wanted to design the same sort of thing. So in 2016, I created my first map, marked where our home was in Leslieville and Modern Neighbourhood Maps was born. 

 

Today, I have designed over 100 neighbourhoods from around the world. My prints have been sold in Toronto at the Arts Market, Queenie's Cards, NiceNook and Evergreen Brickworks Gift Shop. I have also partnered with LAUFT, a coworking space, who feature my maps as large wall murals.
