The purpose of my work is to build powerful branding and online experiences for entrepreneurs to stand out in a competitive market, while encouraging and empowering them to be the best at what they do.
I hold a Psychology degree from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Design from OCAD. My learnings ultimately guided me to combine empathy for the user experience and solve problems with smart and thoughtful design.
Using years of advertising industry experience, one-on-one communication, and ongoing guidance and support, I approach all client relationships as a mutual partnership. Let's get your business the creative, stand-out design it deserves!
How long will it take you to build my brand identity and/or website?
Project turnaround times depend on the amount of work required on a specific project, as well as client response times. Typically, most brand identity projects take 3-5 weeks, and website design and builds take 4-6 weeks. I outline the due dates in our proposal so you know when to expect things.
I just need a quick logo, can you make one for my business?
I don't believe that a logo on it's own can capture your brand's full story. Branding is so much more – it includes colours, typography, and the overall style and message of your business. Branding communicates your story and creates a connection with your ideal audience. Having a consistent style across all platforms creates trust among consumers – and a logo alone won’t do that.
Do I pay when the project is complete?
All large project payments (branding, web and print) are due in two parts. A 50% non-refundable payment is due prior to work beginning and to hold your spot in my calendar. The second half of the project payment is delivered at project completion before final files are released and/or the website is launched. Invoices are sent to you via email and you can pay via e-transfer or paypal.
Now that the project is complete, will you print my files?
I provide print-ready files when applicable (eg. Label + Package Design). I am happy to work directly with the printer of your choice to supply them with the correct files for your project. If you do not have a printer you prefer to work with, I am happy to make some recommendations. Print costs are not included in quotes.
Can we hop on a call/video chat to discuss my project?
Of course! But first, I require all potential clients to fill out my contact form so that I can get an understanding of what your business does, your goals and objectives, budget, and timeline before we set up a meeting.
