Sobeys embarked on a journey to create a custom typeface, Sobeys Sans, to establish a distinctive and ownable brand identity. Developed in collaboration with renowned type foundry, Letters from Sweden, this bespoke typeface reinforces Sobeys’ visual presence across all brand communications.

After the font was designed, I created a typography anatomy poster for Sobeys Sans, highlighting key typographic features and terminology learned throughout the design process. This poster serves as both an educational tool and a tribute to the craftsmanship behind the new typeface, showcasing the details that make Sobeys Sans unique to the brand.
